Justin Thompson begins his fifth season with The Wanderers Club, serving as both general manager and director of golf. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2001 with a degree in business administration, while earning prestigious accolades and winning intercollegiate tournaments for the university’s golf team. Justin has served at some of the top signature courses in the country, including the Pine Valley Golf Club in New Jersey; the Wannamoisett Country Club in Rhode Island; the Philadelphia Cricket Club; and the Jupiter Hills Club. Golf Course Superintendent
When you are Joseph Figurella, what you see is almost more important than what you get. As the newly minted golf course superintendent at The Wanderers Club in Wellington, Fla., Joseph will oversee golf course operations at the award-winning, private golf club.

Ronna Clements joins us as Director of Membership having 25 years of experience in managing the overall sales efforts of some of the largest top-tier fitness complexes nationwide.

Jeff Fraim

Head Golf Professional
The Wanderers Club recently announced the promotion of Jeff Fraim to head golf professional. Jeff joined the exclusive golf club in 2012 from his seasonal position at the Sunnybrook Golf Club in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

Jeff started playing golf at the age of 13 and has been hooked on the game ever since. He served five years as the head golf professional at Primland Resort in Virginia, and has been employed at some of the country’s most prestigious private clubs, including Yeamans Hall Club, Charleston, S.C.; Edgartown Golf Club, Martha’s Vineyard; and Huntingdon Valley Country Club, Huntingdon Valley, Pa.

Please welcome, Wesley Warren, as the Food & Beverage Director at the Wanderers Club.  Wesley will join the Wanderers Club team of Executive Chef, Tam Ha and Catering Director, Whitney Garcia.

Executive Chef
Since the day he arrived at The Wanderers Club, Chef Tam Ha has been an instrumental force in shaping the culinary landscape of the Club. “Our members look forward to creative dishes and menu specials, knowing that we use only the finest ingredients possible, ensuring delicious, flavorful meals,” says Chef Tam. His repertoire includes Asian, Caribbean, American Fusion, and Continental French cuisines. Whitney Garcia

Director of Catering
Whitney Garcia brings a creative blend of business savvy and professional acumen to all aspects of hospitality, special events, and banquet operations at The Wanderers Club.

As director of catering, Whitney is responsible for spearheading special events, including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, and charity fundraisers. She also leads the charge in promoting the Club’s once private catering services and spaces to the public.

Michael McDermott

Outside Services Manager
Michael McDermott originally grew up in Wellington, Fla., and attended Cardinal Newman High School. He played on Cardinal Newman’s golf team for three years and received a full golf scholarship to Northwood University. Before graduating, Michael began playing golf as a professional. He played on the Golden Bear/Gateway Tour, as well as the Moonlight Tour and the Minor League Tour. A few years later, Michael was hired as an assistant pro at Wycliffe Golf & Country Club. Ken Ventimiglia

Director of Tennis

Ken Ventimiglia has excelled in his career as a tennis teaching professional since 1982, and achieved the USPTA Elite Pro certification in 2000 and the USPTA High Performance Coach certification in 2006. His talent and experience in coaching, instruction, drill clinics, tennis camps, and training of tennis teams at all levels is a tremendous asset to The Wanderers Club’s tennis program.
